Every review on this site comes from hands-on testing. I run these tools through real business workflows (not sandboxed demos) and report what delivers, what falls short, and what deserves your money.
Background
Craig Hunt here. I have spent 20+ years building and leading engineering organizations across senior technology leadership roles. At Solera ($3.2B revenue), I held the Sr. Director of Software Engineering role, leading 350+ engineers across 9 business units supporting 20+ products totaling $500M+ in annual revenue. I have held CTO positions at TraXtion (automotive IoT/SaaS) and ExamRoom.AI, and VP of Technology at CALI Floors.
I hold SANS Institute certifications in Application Security, Web App Penetration, Data Leakage Prevention, IP Packet Analysis, and Secure Communications. I have led M&A technology evaluation and post-acquisition integration. I have deployed AI/ML systems into production across automotive tech, insurance tech, and SaaS environments. I have driven agile transformation across hybrid hardware and software teams.
Today I operate a Fractional CTO practice at Sagecrest Solutions, where I help companies implement AI in ways that move the needle. AI Tool Guide grew out of the research I already do for my clients: evaluating, testing, and deploying AI tools across dozens of business use cases.
